Biography
Mike Bird joined ذكذكتسئµ Law in 2022 as the Reference & Serials Librarian and was promoted to Head of Public Services in August, 2025. Mike manages the public services area of the library, which includes faculty services, reference services, and circulation services. His experience lies in providing reference services and instruction in legal research. Mike teaches two or three sections each semester of 1L legal research. Mike represents the law school on the University's AI Policy Task Force and is the librarian liaison with the law review.
Previously, Mike worked with the University of Arizona's Indigenous People's Law and Policy Project, was Head of Public Services at the Capital University Law School, and was reference librarian at Cooley Law for 12 years. Mike is a graduate of the Univ. of Arizona College of Law, as well as the Univ. of Arizona College of Information Science for his Masters in Information & Library Science degree.
